Sketch Book Class with Leah Kuehne

Tuesdays, January 21, 28, February 4, 11, 1-3 pm
Dates for Zoom Class: Thursdays, January 23, 30, February 6, 13, 6-8 pm

Join me for a deep dive into starting and keeping a sketchbook. In this class we will learn about materials, inspiration, observing and drawing from life, playing with new ideas, and then diving deeper on a particular subject. Use what materials you have. All skill levels and art styles are welcome. There will be a list of weekly prompts to work on during each week on your own and you can do as much or as little as you choose.
Materials: You will need your own sketch book and a variety of art supplies, such as pencils, markers, watercolor and brushes.

Mosaic Coaster with Na'ama Yacoby

Thursday and Friday, February 20 and 21, 1-3 pm

You will learn how to create beautiful Mosaic Coasters from start to finish. This means choosing tiles, pieces of pottery and glass, glueing them and on the second day grouting your design. Na'ama, a Visiting Artist has become a new gallery member and we are excited to have her with us. Minimum of two students.

Spring Flowers with Leah Kuehne

Spring flowers are the inspiration for this class. Using watercolor, ink, collage and other supplies, create your own style of expressive floral artwork. Floral inspiration will be provided or you can bring your own favorite flower references. All materials will be provided but feel free to bring your own if you would like. All levels welcome, no experience necessary.

Look on the Bright Side on Zoom with Annette Mitchell and Suzan Gannett

Mondays, February 24, March 3, 10, 17, 24, 31, and April 7, 1-3 pm

Artwork of every genre and medium (music, writing, acting, art) reflect human emotions and experiences. We have developed seven lessons that will look at how artists show joy, happiness or the lighter side of human emotions and experiences. All levels and mediums are welcome.
