Creating Patterns on Procreate with Suzan Gannett

Tuesdays, April 1 and April 8, 1-3 pm

Have you ever wanted to create a design to place on fabric? You have come to the right place to learn how to do this. We will create a pattern each week from start to finish using the program, Procreate, an apple pencil or stylus and an iPad. At the end of the second class you will have two patterns that you can upload to websites like Spoonflower to create your own fabric, wallpaper or home goods.

Children will their own spring sun catchers! Come and join the fun. Appropriate for 4 and above.

Ukrainian Easter Egg Dying with Leah Kuehne

First Offering: Saturday, April 5, 1-3 pm
-OR- Second Offering: Tuesday, April 15, 1-3 pm

Learn the traditional method of Pysanky Egg dying using wax resist and permanent dyes. Students will lean the techniques and make their own dyed eggs. All materials included. Dyes are permanent so please dress accordingly. Class Size: 6 students

Mosaic Coasters with Na'ama Yacoby

Friday, April 25, 1-3 pm

Description: Students will learn how to create mosaic coasters from start to finish. This includes choosing tiles, pieces of pottery, and glass, gluing them on and then grouting your design. At least 2 students must sign up for this class to operate.

Decorating Tiles using Sgraffito Technique with Na'ama Yacoby

Friday, April 25, 3-5 pm

Description: Students will decorate 2 tiles measuring 4X4 inches using a technique that includes carving a design into the tile.

ZOOM SERIES

Learning the Value of a Sketchbook on Zoom with Annette Mitchell and Suzan Gannett

Mondays, April 28, May 5, 12, 19, 26, June 2 and 9, 1-3 pm

The purpose of a sketchbook is to: improve drawing skills; work out plans for a project or commission, a place to brainstorm, and a place to experiment. We will provide you with a variety of activities to do using your sketchbook each week. Come and experiment and play with us. All skills and levels welcome. This class needs a 10 student minimum to run.
