Semi Private Class with Annette Mitchell

Thursdays, July 25, August 1, 8, 15, 22, 29 and Sept. 5, 10-noon

Up to seven people will work with Annette Mitchell for 7 two-hour semi-private lessons, in person, at Artistic Roots. The choice of work is completely up to the individual. By limiting the number of participants, each student receives personal attention, while enjoying an art exchange with their fellow artists.

Mosaics with Liz Keefe

Sunday, August 11th, 10-11am

Kids mosaic workshop for children aged between 5 and up. Parents welcomed to stay. The children will learn about the art of mosaic and will create their very own mosaic to take home. All supplies are included. Please wear "artsy" clothes for getting creatively messy in. REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED.

Zoom Classes Abstractions with Annette Mitchell and Suzan Gannett

Mondays, August 26, September 3, 9, 16, 23, 30, October 7 1-3 pm

his class will help us discover our own preferences and artistic voice through exercises that employ varying degrees of abstraction. Each person has an artistic style that is his/her most natural way of working, and discovering that is an enjoyable experience. All media will be welcome (cloth, sculpture, painting, drawing, photography, etc.). In class we will look at how various visual artists accomplished this and suggestions for that pathway of exploration will be given.
